In an April 23 editorial you identified Stanton A. Glantz as a "heart specialist." He is not a medical doctor; his doctorate is in applied mechanics. A recent research project, for which the National Cancer Institute paid him $600,000, was to investigate voting records of state legislators of several states on tobacco issues.
