SRES (baseline) variants from 1990 to 2100. Climate policy has a much smaller
impact on equity in energy use than does choice of development path. This can
be seen by comparing the change in energy use within each of the four worlds (i.e.,
between the baseline and the 550ppmv stabilization for each world) with the change
among the worlds (i.e., across the baselines or across the 550ppmv stabilization).
